Switching or Canceling Your Subscription Plan

Your subscription plan doesn't have to stay fixed forever - upgrading for a busier season, downgrading when things quiet down, or canceling entirely are all available from your Billing & Subscription page.

Switching Plans

From the Plans section of your Billing & Subscription page, compare the available tiers side by side and select a different one. Your current plan is clearly marked, so it's easy to see what you're moving from and to before confirming the change.

What Happens to Your Credit Balance When You Switch

Your existing credit balance carries over when you change plans - switching tiers doesn't reset or forfeit credits you already have. See Understanding Your Credit Balance and Transaction History for how credits work generally.

Downgrading

Downgrading works the same way as upgrading - select a lower tier from the Plans section. If a lower tier includes a smaller credit allotment or different feature access, review what changes before confirming, so you're not caught off guard by a feature or limit that's different on the new tier.

Canceling

If you need to cancel your subscription entirely, look for the cancellation option on your Billing & Subscription page, or reach out via Opionate's support channel if you don't see a self-service option for your specific situation.

What Happens to Your Surveys and Data After Canceling

Your surveys, responses, and account data aren't deleted simply because your subscription is canceled - cancellation affects your subscription and plan access, not your existing content. If you're looking to remove your account and its data entirely, that's a separate, more permanent action - see How to Delete Your Account (and What Happens When You Do).
