Basics¶
What is the Media Library?¶
A shared, account-level space for the images and videos you use across your surveys, separate from any single survey - upload once, reuse in as many Stimuli Testing or Pairwise Comparison sections as you need. See Introduction to the Media Library.
Where do I use Media Library assets?¶
Stimuli Testing sections (see Setting Up Image and Video Stimulus Testing) and Pairwise Comparison sections (see Pairwise Comparison Testing: Setting Up a Head-to-Head Tournament).
Uploading and Managing¶
Where can I upload media?¶
Directly from the Media Library's own page, or on the fly from inside a survey builder when adding a relevant section.
What file types are supported?¶
Check the upload dialog for the current accepted image and video formats.
Does uploading media cost credits?¶
No - uploading and storing media isn't a credit-based action.
Reusing Media¶
Can I use the same image across multiple surveys?¶
Yes - that's the core benefit of the Media Library being account-level rather than tied to one survey. See Reusing Images and Videos Across Surveys with the Media Library.
Does cloning a survey duplicate the media files too?¶
No - cloning a survey or section that references a Media Library asset points at the same underlying file rather than creating a duplicate copy.
Pairwise Comparison Specifics¶
How many images can I use in a Pairwise Comparison pool?¶
Between 2 and 12 items. See Pairwise Comparison Testing: Setting Up a Head-to-Head Tournament.
Can I mix images and videos in the same comparison pool?¶
Yes.

Is the Media Library available on every plan?¶
Check your Billing & Subscription page for what your specific plan includes.
Can other users on my team see my Media Library?¶
Check your workspace settings for any sharing or access considerations relevant to your account.
